Finlayson Island
Finlayson Island is located on the North Saskatchewan River between the arched bridges connecting North Battleford with Battleford. The island has a variety of nature trails and is a great place to hike, cross country ski, or picnic. The wide variety of flora and fauna make it a unique recreational opportunity for all to enjoy.
How to get there: from North Battleford, go 1km south on Poundmaker Trail from the Highway 16 Bypass. Please note that the bridge to the island is for pedestrians only. From Battleford, go 1km east on 35th Street from Highway 4 S.
